《老人的性自主权》

一直以来，老人上门看病都会抓紧最后的时间，十分淡定地说：“ I have a personal issue, ED ”。 无论是什么种族，跟着来的儿女、媳妇，或者女婿都会被老人吓到一下， 有些甚至听到“私人问题”的话刚落下， 马上转过身，跑去阳台看风景；反应迟钝的，回避不了就希望旁边有个洞，马上跳下去，当着没有听到。所幸，我见过大场面没有被吓到。

讲英文的就会直接说，ED, you know?

讲中文的大概有4种讲法：

1. 我的兰焦不会硬！（草根派）

2. 我的下面。。。好像。。（含蓄派）

3. 我的玉茎无法一柱擎天 （文学派）

4. 我是很强的，不是不会硬，只是还想要更强（ 东山再起派）

因为已经不是第一次听到这些要求，我反而比病人更加淡定， 通常接下来，老人就会深深的吐了一口气， 好像终于找到了可以听懂他们心声的人。一般上，人们都认为70 - 80多岁的老人还想要什么？是的，有关老人的性自主权，在保守东方社会还是处于一种比较难以启齿的敏感的话题，人们不太愿意讨论，也不知道从何谈起。 也就是因为这样，会闹出很多悲剧。

我听过这样的故事， 一位久病卧床的老爷子开始神志不清、循衣摸床，有回光返照的现象。老爷子快要去世的前一天对 女儿说，很想念去世己久的太太， 最近一直梦见穿上漂亮衣裳的太太。于是，女儿和看护谈好条件，希望她穿上妈妈身前的衣服和老爸在漆黑的房间睡一晚，女儿告诉看护，反正老爸已经是垂死的老人，不会构成强奸这种事，最多就是亲亲和抱抱的举动。结果看护二话不说马上答应了。 也就是这样， 这两个女人成功完成老爷子心愿，把他送往另一个世界。 就只是睡一晚，老人安详离世， 脸上一点痛苦都没有。

第2个故事，发生在我朋友那边，她的父母是一对十分恩爱的老夫妻。 有一天女儿无意中发现爸爸悄悄带失痴的妈妈去看妇科。她在猜测，这不对呀？怎么会去看妇科，不是走去看脑科？后来“私下侦察”，才发现妈妈好像隐瞒阴道发炎的事。 经过一番顺藤摸瓜， 她发现原来父母亲那么“劲”，活到老，做到老！做太多出问题了， 却好像小孩子，不知道怎么处理。现在她比较难去跟父母沟通，也很难跟他们了解，到底用了什么劣等的情趣用品造成感染， 同时也是很担心父亲到底在外面买些什么壮阳药来吃， 害怕影响他的健康。

第3个故事比较鬼扯， 有一个朋友给我寄了好几段辣眼睛的视频， 好像是发生在台湾的。某人家里请了外籍看护，本来老爷子每天都在盘算着什么时候进棺材，日子过得十分消极。不过，自从来了个年轻又有爱心的菲律宾看护，老爷子身体越来越硬朗了！某天家人在闭路电视里看到不应该看到的“活动”。看护与老爷子上演“十八般武艺”， 我看到其中一招“老汉推车”，Pui～ 真的体力超好了，年轻人都认输了。不过， 这种事太激烈，也要提防 马上风的危险性呀！

在普通人的眼里，认为老人还每天想着那种事，是太过分了？不晓得你们是否认为残障人士、智商低、中风瘫痪以及老人是不是不能够拥有性的主自权？ 你们认为老人不健康，身体有很多疾病，更不应该享受性生活？ 身体无法活动自如的人，是否让别人帮忙发泄性欲是不能够被大众接受的提议？

天气病 - 酸麻，僵硬不适，疼痛 Pain that related to weather

天气转成又阴又湿，大雨下个不停时， 很多人就会开始觉得颈项肩膀和腰骨酸麻僵硬不适，甚至疼痛。日本医学专家研究，把这种现象称为“天气病”，中医从古至今，观察了这个现象数千年，我们把它叫做“风湿痹病”。特别是骨头曾经受伤的中年人，或没有好好治疗，留下手尾的老人，只要有空针灸一下，一周运动三次，多晒太阳吸收阳气，吃中药调理三四个月就会全身筋脉舒畅，疼痛感没有了！

When the weather turns cloudy and humid, or when heavy rain comes, many people will start to feel muscle stiffness , numbness, discomfort, and even pain in the neck, shoulders and back bones. 

Japanese medical experts have researched and called this phenomenon "weather disease". Traditional Chinese medicine has observed this phenomenon for thousands of years. The usage of Chinese herbs in Covid-19 treatment , what is the science behind it?

  

Traditional Chinese medicine is an important part of China's medical system, and Chinese medicine plays an important role in exogenous disease control.

In previous SARS and H7N9 avian influenza epidemics, when the pathogen was unknown and the vaccine hadn't developed, Chinese medicine provided a feasible treatment for the epidemic.

At present, Chinese medicine treatment for Covid-19 mainly includes three aspects: single Chinese medicine, Chinese patent medicine, and Compound Chinese herbal medicines.

For single Chinese medicine, at present, the research on anti-virus of traditional Chinese medicine mainly involves respiratory virus, hepatitis virus, HIV, herpes virus, etc.

单味中药抗新冠肺炎病毒的研究

中医药是中国医疗体系的重要组成部分，外感疫病在中医治疗中具有重要地位。

既往SARS、H7N9 型禽流感疫情中，在病原体不明、疫苗未研发成功时，中医药为疫情提供了可行的治疗方式。目前中医治疗新冠肺炎的方式，主要包括单味中药、中成药、复方汤剂3个方面。

单味中药目前，中药抗病毒的研究主要涉及呼吸道病毒、肝炎病毒、艾滋病病毒、疱疹病毒等。中药抗病毒途径主要分为直接抗病毒(祛邪)、间接抗病毒(扶正)两个方面。中药抗病毒有效成分包括酚类、黄酮类、生物碱、多糖、苷类等，几乎涵盖了所有与抗病毒相关的化学成分。治疗呼吸道疾病的中药中，板蓝根、金银花、连翘、艾叶等最常用。板蓝根、金银花、连翘是清热解毒的代表药物。 

中药对于病毒性、细菌性呼吸道病有确切的治疗作用，其作用机制包括抑制细菌、病毒生长，抑制炎性因子表达，调节免疫等多个方面。但针对新冠肺炎 ， 单药的治疗效果有限，应通过配伍组成复方，可提高治疗效果。

穷老师认为一个好的中医，不要被三种人的消极思想荼毒，逐渐沦为缺乏自信的中医。第一种人， 开口闭口都是“去中医化”，只认识西医的好；第二种，满脑子“去中国化”的想法， 认为所有中国制造的都是坏东西；第三种，“去中药化”，完全不懂中药，却用科学之由扼杀草药市场的发展。穷老师还说，以上三种人不乏中医界的“人才”， 这些人为了成为“东方不败”，不惜自我阉割，还阉割跟随他们的人，打击同行的信心，阻止中医的创新和发展。

所以，无论治疗什么病，慢性病，还是急性传染病，俩位老师都认为中医从古至今都是和各种奇怪疾病搏斗的医学经验史，今人也应该勇敢接受挑战， 殊不知古人很多经验也就是这样积累过来的。 中医的未来就是要看我们能够不能够抓住时代的契机，千万不要一味地认为最好的中医只出现在中国，而不是海外其他国家。

Lesson 4 : Covid 19 prevention herbal soup with cosmetics advantages

First of all, we learn the 2 key ingredients, Soybean and black bean. In most Asian cooking, we used herbs, beans and spices to prepare delicious and nutritious foods.

How to pick good quality of soybeans? Pick plump rounded soybeans, with hard texture, moist shinning color, no broken surface, no mildew. And remember to store in a dry place. It is best to use organic soybeans and avoid eating genetically modified soybeans.

According to Chinese medicine theory, Soybean prevents cardiovascular diseases, improves digestion, helps to reduce stomach bloating, moisturizing dry and rough skin, reduces risk of cancer and increases breast milk production.

There are many Asia soy based foods you can easily find in the Asian supermarket. Although in Western countries scientists said soy beans can caused cancer, in Asia society, we believe soy beans help to prevent cancer. In the future, I might write another blog to discuss this topic.

In Asia, Soy plays Important role in Asian diets, the cooking of using soybean can be very creative, for example : cook soup, make dessert, bake bread, create tofu, boil soy drink, and through the fermentation process, we make soy sauce, miso paste etc.

Black beans (Glycine max) is a type of soybeans native to East Asia usually fermented for making soy sauce or cook soup with meat. In the five elements, the kidney is subsumed to water and the colour is black. This means that the black beans are the "grains of the kidney" because of its black colour.

As recorded in many Chinese medicine books, black beans nourish the kidney vitality, slow down the aging process, improve vision, reduce limbs' water retention, reduce wrinkles, prevent the formation of dark spots, make your skin glow and smooth.  

This is a very common black bean soup that most of the Chinese housewives will know how to cook. The ingredients are black beans, lotus root, red dates, pork ribs and dried mandarin peel. This soup is usually cooked for 2 to 3 hours and season with a bit of salt. For back pain, they will use pork tail instead of pork ribs.

In Chinese society, black bean soup with pork shinbone is for rapid recovery for muscles and bones injury, of course we have many ways to eat black bean, such as making porridge, pastry etc. In the west, you might seldom heard of "Douchi", this is a type of fermented black bean. It is very effective in treating cold and fever, headache and annoying heat around the chest.

Covid-19 prevention herbal soup (for normal healthy people) :
People who have a good physical condition, no underlying disease, no obvious discomfort, no obvious cool and warm body type.
Soybeans 50g
Black beans 50g
Bei Xinɡ Ren (Crush & skin removed bitter apricot seed ) 15g
Shenɡ Jianɡ (Fresh ginger) 30g
Chen Pi (Citrus reticulata Blanco) 1 piece
Zi Su Ye (Perilla Leaf) 10g

Preparation:
This soup is for 3 people. First, soaking the beans in clean water for 30 minutes, this is to make sure the beans become soft. Measure total water of 1500 ml and add in all the herbs (except Zi Su Ye) bring to a boil, turn to low heat and cook for 35 minutes, add in Zi Su Ye, cook for another 5 minutes and ready to serve.

Intake and dosage :
7-17 years old take 150-200 ml daily, 18 years old and above take 200-300 ml daily, take the soup in warm, 1 hour after meal. It can be taken 3 days a week for the one whole month, or once every 2-3 days.

The simple one will do
If you can't get all the Chinese herbs in your countries, just keep it simple by using soybean and black beans. The easiest way is to create a sweet dessert soup by soaking both beans (30g soy beans and 30g black beans per person) in clean water for 30 minutes, add 600ml bring to boil, turn to low heat and cook for 40 minutes, add some sugar or honey and prepare to serve, eat the bean and drink the soup.

How about mixing soy beans and black bean together for a hot drink?

Since we are using 2 beans only, why not invest in a soy milk maker? It will save you a lot of time, just press 1 or 2 buttons and after 30 mins, you can enjoy a hot soy drink in a very relaxing way.

Those are example on how a Soy milk maker look like. I didn't receive any advertisement fee from any brands of soy milk makers. The image here just for your reference, if you intend to buy one, make sure you compare the price and get to know the reviews before buying.

Survey the price, durability, difficulty of operating and effectiveness of a soy milk maker before buying. You should also know how many portions it can make at one time and consider how many persons will consume the soy milk etc. Soy milk maker can use for making all kind of multi-grain beverages or porridge that are good for the elderly and children who have difficulty to chew foods. As for busy working adults, drinking multi-grains hot beverage or bean milk help to boost immunity and also improve skin health.

But remember not to throw away the bean dregs, you can use it for cooking soup stock or bone broth. I personally use the bean dregs to scrub and exfoliate my face and whole body during bath, you will notice your skin become silky smooth and well moisturized.

Bean dregs can be used for making delicious steam bun.

Stir fried bean dregs with eggs, spring onion, season with soy sauce, sugar, salt and pepper will be a very delicious Chinese dishes in Beijing, China

The bean dregs also can be used for baking cookies, feeding your pets by mixing it with dog food or turning it into a natural fertilizer for your plants in the garden.
